Amari Watergate | Bangkok, Thailand

Finishing up our trip and stay in Bangkok and wanted to share with you all the wonderful hotel we stayed at, Amari Watergate Bangkok.

Located right in the heart of downtown this hotel was at a perfect location. Centrally located and easily accessible to everything. Taxis and tuks-tuks are right outside the hotel as well so going to and from places is super easy.

Upon arriving, we were welcomed with refreshing iced lemon grass tea and cold towels. This was greatly appreciated after having traveled for 20+ hours.

February 6th marks one year of marriage for us and the hotel was so kind as to decorate our room to make our stay even more special and personal.

As you can see our room was quite spacious which we LOVED. Enough room to move around, get ready, and just relax without crashing into each other or feel like we were up in each others faces constantly.

The bathroom was large as well complete with a soaking tub and double sinks! I loved that toilet was off to the side and had its own door.

The hotel and staff even sent us cake for our Anniversary which we kept in the fridge and nibbled on each day. Another perk in the room, a fridge!

The view was also pretty amazing. We were getting up each morning to catch the beautiful sunrises and watch the insane traffic. Compared to Europe, this is a city that gets up EARLY.

The property is quite big with a pool, ballrooms, fitness center, spa, sauna, and multiple restaurants for guests to enjoy.

Hubby and I did not get a chance to eat at any of the restaurants as there was so much to do around us and we were out and about all day, everyday. Another trip to Bangkok is definitely in the cards for the future so we’ll have to lounge around the hotel and eat at all the yummy restaurants next time!

If you are headed to Bangkok, Thailand I would definitely recommend this hotel. You won’t be disappointed.

I love Amari too! Stayed there last month and was super happy with their service and property. We had dinner and drinks at the Cascade restaurant and the food was amazing!
