Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay Resort | Phuket, Thailand

Our last stop in Thailand was Phuket and it was the perfect end to a wonderful trip in Thailand. So lush and relaxing. More on the city and all our adventures here but I wanted to share with you all our wonderful stay at Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay Resort.

Nestled on the edge of a cliff with sweeping views of the Andaman Sea, Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay is an amazing resort with an outdoor swimming pool, 2 on-site restaurants, and free WiFi access.

While a newly opened resort still undergoing construction, they still have a spa and fitness center in the works, the hotel is very clean and quiet. The center of Patong, which includes the famous nightlife on Bangla Road and the shopping paradise of Jungceylon Shopping Centre, is a 10-minute drive away. Kamala Beach is 4 km away. Phuket International Airport is a 50-minute drive from Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay and airport transfers can be arranged for an additional fee. There is also a shuttle that goes to Jungceylon Shopping Centre and Patong Beach and is SUPER convenient.

We stayed in a luxury pool villa which had stunning views of the ocean both visible from the bedroom/living room, and pool deck. With high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows, there was a great amount of natural sunlight. We were also able to cuddle on either on the patio or in our bedroom and see gorgeous sunrises and sunsets daily.

It’s safe to say we took a dip in the pool every day we were here. I mean who could resist? It ended up storming one day and the weather the next day was a tropical heaven. Light breeze and sunny, just the way I like it.

The room itself was very spacious, including the bathroom. Tons of room to work and lounge around.

You all know I love double sinks so I was beyond thrilled to find some in our room.

In our room and throughout the hotel there are upgraded and high-end technologies (touch screen elevators, one master control pad for the entire room) which we loved. Adjusting the A/C and lights were super simple. In the room, there is a master keyboard so to say that controls everything from the lights to the A/C. No fumbling with switches all over the room and trying to figure out which turns on what or tripping in the middle of the night because of darkness or trying to find switches.

They made our animoon/anniversary very special and took very good care of us; calling to check in and inquire how everything is, decorating our room, and sending a car to take us to places.

I also highly recommend eating at the hotel’s restaurant, Latitude 98. The breakfast at Latitude 98 has wide selections of foods from sweet to savory and have I mentioned the view is AMAZING?

We also had dinner twice at the hotel and they are super accommodating for any dietary restrictions you may have. My husband and I are vegetarians, and the hotel was more than happy to customize any dish.

Enjoyed a delicious amaretto sour and beautiful views of a sunset at Latitude 98 as well.

We were very grateful for their hospitality and care. Thank you, Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim! We hope to be back soon.
