NYX To Go Palettes | Wanderlust & Bon Voyage | Swatches & Review

As you all know I am constantly traveling so I am always on the hunt for an awesome makeup travel palette. I saw the NYX To Go Palettes and decided to give them try. I am reviewing both palettes, Wanderlust and Bon Voyage.

Each palette contains six eyeshadows, with five shimmers and one matte, and a matte blush, matte bronzer, and a highlight. All colors are super pigmented and wearable. The highlight, blush, and contour are in long narrow pans making it hard to dip a big fluffy brush but again this is a travel palette so probably trying to make this as compact as possible.

The Bon Voyage palette has pops of purple, smokey blues, and greens making this palette you would grab for a pop of color or if you are looking to up your makeup look. I was especially drawn to the green and purple shade in this palette.

The Wanderlust palette has more neutral shades and would be your palette for more everyday looks or when you looking to keep it simple but you can definitely create some very intense, sexy looks. I especially love the last color on the right and number 2 and 3 from the left. Gorgeous!

At $16.99 there is a lot of product making these palettes a great value. The colors are blendable, pigmented, and not only swatch well but wear great on the lid. If the blush colors don’t suit your skin tone or mood you can use those shades on your eyes giving you an additional eye shadow color. The highlights are subtle in both palettes but buildable so you can definitely up the glow per your liking. Over all tons of great colors that you can mix and match with allowing you to do your full face and a palette that would be great for traveling.

Thanks for the review hon! I just had one concern as I have read on many sites that colors are very powdery…..what do you think of that?

Apply a good quality, long lasting eye primer and you will be good to go. The colors and shadows will last you all evening and/or day. They also swatched beautifully and one swatch gave me a great swipe of color, no streaks or light color.
